SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE – Shawn Tyson has been found guilty in the April 16 murders of two British tourists. The jury deliberated for about two hours before rendering its verdict. The verdict came after five days of testimony from forensic experts and witnesses who painted a picture of Tyson as a hothead nicknamed “Savage” who flaunted his .22-caliber revolver.

Tyson, 17, will be sentenced to life in prison. Relying heavily on witness testimony, prosecutors tied Tyson to the murders of James Kouzaris, 24, and James Cooper, 25.While on vacation in Sarasota, the two drunkenly stumbled into The Courts housing complex where Tyson lived and were later found dead with their pants pulled down. The murders sparked an international media storm and highlighted Sarasota, known for its beaches and affluence, as a city of contrasts.

 

One British headline read “Gunned down in the Ghetto,” a reference to Newtown, the city’s neighborhood with the highest crime and poverty. Kouzaris and Cooper were both killed by a .22-caliber handgun — one like the revolver witnesses say Tyson carried at his hip, with a red bandana wrapped around the handle.

 

Newtown needs a curfew to protect the citizens of Sarasota from other gangsters like Shawn Tyson, forget about “Profiling”, Civil Rights Complaints and the ass clowns at the ACLU the safety of the citizens of Sarasota is most important, that’s all I’ve got to say about this P.O.S. Get a clue Sarasota, Newtown black thugs will continue to shot and kill each other, and you, until the City of Sarasota and the Sarasota Police Department and the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department and any other law enforcement agency that can be brought in to curtail the violence and drug activity in Newtown puts a lockdown on the thugs that continue to run wild at will.  Newtown needs a curfew.

I have been a resident and home owner and tax payer and businees owner in Sarasota Fl since 1996, my parents and my grandmother link back to the 1970′s in Downtown Sarasota to a house on the corner of 6th Street and Adelia Ave that  is now part of Gillespie Park and another residence at the Meadows Complex.  I have been coming to Sarasota Fl since the early 1970′s and guess what, Newtown was bad then and it is worse now.

Thursday November 3rd, 2011…SARASOTA – A 17-year-old is being charged with the murder of a Sarasota man. Sarasota Police say that, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, they located and arrested Olajuwan Butler. Detectives believe that Butler is the gunman who shot Sarasota resident Hakeem Murray, 20, in the 1900 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way at about 1 a.m. on Oct. 1..

Olajuwan Butler is the brother of Willie ”Pooh” Hadley who was shot dead on the mean streets of Newtown in June of this year, payback time for Olajuwan Butler, this is all gang related.

Willie “Pooh” Hadley, 21, had an extensive criminal record in Sarasota Fl. he had just got out of Jail, again, on or about June 6th, 2011. Willie Hadley was arrested on April 30th, 2011, on gun charges just days after British Tourists James Cooper, 25, and James Kouzaris, 24 were murdered on Saturday April 16th in the Newtown “Courts”. 

Was Willie Hadley one of Shawn Tyson’s gang members? Hadley lived at 1903 COCONUT AVE SARASOTA FL, which is just down the street from “The Courts” where British Tourists James Cooper, 25, and James Kouzaris, 24 were murdered by Shawn Tyson and an unknown subject, was Willie Hadley a member of Shawn Tyson’s gang.
