No Snitchin In Newtown From the Mayor of Sarasota to the Pastor in Newtown to the Sex Offender on Who Murdered Travis Combs, See Alan Cohn ABC-7 News Show Jan 15th Monday at 7:00pm with Updates. Apparently Reginald Parker, a registered sex offender and ex-con, witnessed the murder of Travis Combs by 3 thugs. Supposedly someone got with pastor Kelvin Lumpkin in the Newtown section of Sarasota Fl and revealed additional information about the unsolved murder of Travis Combs whose body was found in an empty lot in the 1600 block of 22nd Street in Newtown. Sarasota cops got wind that the pastor may have vital information about ‘the 3 thugs’ who killed Travis Combs and who may be involved in the possible kidnapping of Jabez Spann who apparently witnessed the murder of Travis Combs on August 28th, 2017. But in comes the Mayor of Sarasota Shelli Freeland Eddie who just happens to be an attorney with a law office on Dr Martin Luther King Way in the heart of Newtown. Mayor of Sarasota Shelli Freeland Eddie writes a letter to the State Attorney’s office and tells them and the Sarasota Cops that she now represents pastor Kelvin Lumpkin and that he will not be talking to the cops or anyone else, Lumpkin will invoke his “pastoral privilege” and refuse to answer any questions about the murder of Travis Combs which could link to the kidnapping of Jabez Spann, what the hell?
Lucille Tillery grandmother of the missing teen, 14-year-old Jabez Spann says, Pastor Lumpkin’s secrecy could cost people’s lives. “I believe in god but we are talking about a 14 year old child, the murderers are still out in the street and you know something,” says Tillery. “If we find out what happened to Travis we can find out what happened to Jabez,” Tillery says. The grieving grandmother says, the Florida statue granting pastor privilege needs to be changed if it involves a minor.

I find it reprehensible that the Mayor of Sarasota, Shelli Freeland Eddie, would interfere in an active murder investigation and the very possible kidnapping of a 14 year boy who all live in Newtown where she has her law practice, whose side is this woman on? The appointment of Shelli Freeland Eddie to the position as Mayor of Sarasota Fl was a HUGE mistake! Mayor Shelli Freeland Eddie cannot protect the citizens of Sarasota Fl by interfering with Sarasota Police Chief Bernadette DiPino’s investigation of murdered Travis Combs and possible kidnapping of teen Jabez Spann. Newsflash for Mayor of Sarasota Shelli Freeland Eddie, 3 armed killers are still out on the streets of Sarasota. Mayor Shelli Freeland Eddie Phone: (941) 954-4115 Email: Shelli.FreelandEddie@sarasotagov.com Mayor Shelli Freeland Eddie Term Expires in 2019, or sooner I hope!
SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE by Carlos Munoz — Sarasota Mayor Shelli Freeland Eddie intervened in the investigation of a murder in Newtown that could be connected to the case of missing teenager Jabez Spann after prosecutors attempted to contact a prominent Newtown pastor regarding the cases in late September, according to public records. Shelli Freeland Eddie, who also runs a private law practice in Newtown, represents Pastor Kelvin Lumpkin and wrote a letter on Sept. 28th, 2017 that he would invoke his “pastoral privilege” and refuse to answer any questions from investigators, according to a copy of the letter obtained through a public records request. The mayor serves on the board of Lumpkin’s church. Her letter came as investigators struggled to drum up new leads in the search for the 14-year-old Jabez and believed Lumpkin may have information about the late-August murder of 31-year-old Travis Combs, whose homicide is potentially related to the teenager’s disappearance, officials have suggested.
On September 27th, 2017, after doing surveillance on 22nd Street in Newtown, I wrote an article; ‘Does Murder of Travis Combs Link to Disappearance of Teen Jabez Spann in Newtown Fl‘, at the time I had no knowledge of the letter written by Shelli Freeland Eddie or any knowledge of Pastor Lumpkin but I did feel that the murder of Travis Combs was linked to the disappearance of Jabez Spann. Apparently numerous people in the Sarasota area were also feeling something was way wrong here as there were over 32,000 views of my article in the first 24 hour period. “Do you believe in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy or just plain old coincidences, well I don’t especially when it involves a missing teen who just happened to live a 2 minute walk from where a guy involved with the sale of drugs in Newtown was found dead. SARASOTA — The death of Travis Combs whose body was found Monday, August 28, 2017 is now being called a homicide. The Sarasota Police Department reports that Travis Combs, 31, was found dead at about 9:20 p.m. near 22nd Street and Palmadelia Avenue. There is no indication that the public is at risk. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are not releasing additional information at this time but ask anyone with information on the case to call Detective Kim Laster at 941-364-7327 or Crime Stoppers 941-366-TIPS. Missing Teen Jabez Spann was living only 453 feet from where the body of Travis Combs was found.”
Jabez went missing on Labor Day after a candlelight vigil for Combs, whose death Spann is rumored to have witnessed. Jabez’s family members, community leaders, local police and the FBI have all pleaded for information related to his disappearance since then. Officials familiar with the investigations told the Herald-Tribune they became aware of a pastor who potentially had information about the Combs case in September and now say the pastor is Lumpkin, a senior pastor at the Light of the World Church in Newtown who won’t talk to them.

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB)–For two years, local attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie served as a commissioner in the city of Sarasota. In May of 2017, she was appointed as mayor, (not elected) of Sarasota Fl. Shelli Freeland Eddie has her law office located at 1400 Dr Martin Luther King Way #101 in the heart of the Newtown section of Sarasota Fl. Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie had worked as a prosecutor for the State Attorney’s office dating back to 2001, the good guys. It appears that in 2012 Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie went over to the dark side and became a criminal defense lawyer. Most of Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie clients over the past 5 years have been charged with crimes such as ‘travel to solicit a child to commit sex acts’, ‘drug possession’, ‘sexual assault of a minor’, ‘aggravated battery with deadly weapon’, ‘carrying concealed weapon’, ‘kidnap false imprisonment’, ‘aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer (LEO)’ etc., etc.. Apparently some of Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie’s clients are criminals, in the courtroom her job is to discredit the testimony and evidence provided by police officers of the Sarasota Police Department or deputies of the Sarasota County Sheriff Department. In the courtroom, Law Enforcement is the enemy of Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie and has been since at least 2012. Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie should be well aware of the drugs and violence that emanates out of Newtown and should be more active working ‘with’ and not ‘against’ Sarasota Police Chief Bernadette DiPino and her detectives on the unsolved murder of Travis Combs in Newtown, they are not the enemy.

BAD PRESS: Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie runs a law practice, criminal defense cases, in Newtown and now represents Pastor Kelvin Lumpkin she wrote a letter on Sept. 28th, 2017 to the Sarasota Police Department stating that Lumpkin would invoke his “pastoral privilege” and refuse to answer any questions from Police Chief Bernadette DiPino’s detectives. Is there a political angle as to why Pastor Kelvin Lumpkin does not want his name associated with the murder of Travis Combs, is that why he got Sarasota Mayor/Attorney Shelli Freeland Eddie to put up a roadblock to keep Sarasota Police Detectives from interviewing him? Pastor Kelvin Lumpkin was running for Sarasota City Commissioner at-large in the 2013 municipal race. “I’m definitely not opposed to an elected mayor,” Lumpkin said, but the current structure is working out fine. This is Lumpkin’s first run for public office. He created and leads the FOCUS group, which is a ministerial alliance organization for the Newtown neighborhood that also works with police and nonprofits to help keep the neighborhood safe. He is also the senior pastor at Light of the World International Church.
NEWTOWN NO SNITCHIN: Sarasota Police Chief Bernadette DiPino said the case has left her department frustrated. DiPino said there are areas her officers want to search, but they are private property and without probable cause, officers cannot conduct those searches without consent (NEWTOWN). “We are doing everything we can, but it’s been very frustrating that we are not getting information from our community (NEWTOWN),” she said. “So we are asking again and reaching out to the citizens in our community to please consider coming forward.” DiPino is convinced someone in the community (NEWTOWN) knows what happened to Jabez, and so is his mother, Tawana Spann.
From the cold blooded murders of British tourists James Cooper and James Kouzaris by Newtown teen thug Shawn Tyson in April 2011 to the murder of Travis Combs in August 2017 and the accompanying disappearance of teen Jabez Span in September 2017 who appears to be a witness to Combs murder, Newtown is a no go kinda place. There were eight murders in Sarasota in 2011, all but one of which took place in Newtown, the historically black neighborhood that has remained dangerous despite years of effort and calls for a stop to the violence. Several members of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s 2011 gang went on to commit drug crimes, burglaries and murder or attempted murder on their own after the murder of the two British tourists on April 16, 2011.
There was a nucleus of violent teen thugs in 2011 Newtown led by Shawn Tyson and his right hand man Steven Fields, who was in and out of prison 4 times, other members of the ‘group’ are Steven R. Phelps, Curtis Campbell, Diandrew L. Clarkson, Shawn D. Whitfield, Treshaun Simmons, Jermaine Bane and Joshua J. Bane that terrorized Newtown residents through a series of robberies, burglaries, home invasions and shootings, they are now all in their mid 20’s. It appears to me that the remnants and/or associates of Shawn Tyson’s violent gang are alive and well in Newtown and have continued with their criminal enterprise. Following is an updated report on where they all are now. All my information obtained on the Newtown nucleus of violent teen thugs and their violent associates seen in this article are compiled from Sarasota County Sheriff and SRQ Police Arrest Reports, Probable Cause Affidavits, Florida State Prison Records, Sarasota County Clerks website ClerkNet 3.0, and articles researched in local Newspapers, all of which are PUBLIC RECORD.
SUNDAY TELEGRAPH London April 24th, 2011…The teenage gunman charged with murdering two British tourists in Florida is linked to a notorious street gang that terrorized the Sarasota neighborhood for two years. The nickname Young Savage tattooed across the chest of Shawn Tyson ties him to leaders of the Second Line gang, DeAndre Tunstall, that operated in the Newtown district of Sarasota where the Britons were shot dead, according to a local crime investigator Bill Warner. The revelation of Tyson’s apparent gang association will fuel anger over the blunders by prosecutors that led to his release from custody charged with an earlier gun attack just hours before James Cooper, 25, and James Kouzaris, 24, were killed.
It will add to suggestions of a pattern of troubled and sometimes violent behavior by Shawn Tyson, well before the incident for which he was arrested earlier this month. It will also raise fresh suspicions of accomplices to the botched attempted robbery of the two young Britons, whose bodies were found 40 yards apart after shots rang out in the small hours of the morning. Now it has emerged that the tattoo emblazoned on his chest links him to the feared “enforcer” of the Second Line gang, DeAndre Tunstall, responsible for a string of robberies and murders in the Newtown district that includes The Courts is now serving a sentence of life in prison.
The Sunday Telegraph has established that the same words, Young Savage, are inked on the forearm of DeAndre Tunstall, jailed for murder in November after a police crackdown on the gang’s leadership. A police spokesman said that Tyson was a not a known gang member. But veteran Sarasota private detective Bill Warner, who has for years investigated cases in and around Newtown, said that Tyson was among young thugs coming to the fore since the arrest of Second Line leaders. “These tattoos are gang tags that identify these hoodlums when they are operating on the street and also when they inevitably end up in prison,” Bill Warner said.“Tyson would never have had the nerve to tattoo ‘Young Savage’ across his chest, where everyone can see, if it he wasn’t associated with the gang, a gangster wanna -be. The tattoo is a gang identification and it’s a tribute to Tunstall. This kid had increasingly shown that he liked to fight and was willing to pull the trigger. He was showing how tough he was. He was graduating, Bill Warner said.“ (The SUNDAY TELEGRAPH has a combined print circulation and digital readership figure of 3.2 million world wide)
I have made my voice heard in the British Press via the Sunday Express and the Sunday Telegraph about the continuing violence in Newtown (Herald Tribune bans my comments). SUNDAY EXPRESS “Is this why the Florida Britons were killed“? Newtown is a district that one man in Sarasota knows better than most. Bill Warner is a veteran private investigator who has called this area his patch for almost 20 years. “It’s horrible,” he says. “At any time of day there are drug deals being done and guys acting as spotters on the look out for police. There is a lot of crime and it’s not a nice place to be. You don’t go there at night, period. If I have to do surveillance work in Newtown I always carry a weapon.”
I will choose my words carefully in this articles as I have been warned by a Sarasota Police Department detective that they are monitoring my website and downloading my articles to hard copy due to my involvement in the murder case of Travis Combs. I have and will continue to attempt to generate any leads as to who murdered Travis Combs in Newtown, all info that I receive I will and have turned over to SPD detectives. I do not want or need or deserve an Obstruction of Justice Charge, and I do not want to be put in the “box” again and questioned by SPD Detectives as if I was one of the bad guys on Monday November 20th, 2017 at Sarasota Police headquarters. ABC-7 News reporter Adam Cellini was just coming out of SPD HQ on Monday November 20th, 2017 and saw me sitting in the waiting area, he approached me and asked, “Is everything cool“, I replied, we’ll see.
Shaun Tyson and his ‘gang’ were terrorizing the central Newtown area from at least the end of 2010. Tyson murdered the two British tourists April 16th of 2011. Written reports that I have obtained from the SPD indicate that Tyson and at least 4 other youths had been pointing handguns at others in the vicinity of the intersection of N. Orange Ave and 24th Street in Newtown in March 2011, Tyson also had been shooting at cars. Tyson had been carrying a Smith and Wesson Model 351PD 7-shot silver.22 Magnum Airlite revolver, ($600 gun). Shawn Tyson’s right hand man was Steven Fields, who has been in and out of State prison 4 times, other members of the ‘group’ are Steven R. Phelps, Curtis Campbell, Diandrew L. Clarkson, Shawn D. Whitfield, Treshaun Simmons, Jermaine Bane and Joshua J. Bane that terrorized Newtown. On May 5th of 2011 Jermaine Bane was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, he was in a car with his brother Joshua Bane who had an active warrant for aggravated assault with a firearm and the driver of the car was Treshaun Simmons, both Bane brothers were arrested. Shawn Tyson’s ‘gang’ are all about the same age, in the 24 to 27 age bracket now, they all lived in the same area, they all carried handguns, they all did robberies together in groups of two, they all are violent and have violent firearm charges, two of them have been convicted of murder in separate cases and one has been convicted of attempted murder (on his father) in another case, and yet no one wanted to call them a ‘gang’.

Who is the unsub 2nd shooter who was with Shawn Tyson when British tourists James Cooper and James Kouzaris were murdered in the Newtown Housing projects section of Sarasota Fl on April 16th, 2011 at 2:54 a.m.. SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE….British tourist murders: Two men at scene; one conviction. Police only solved half of the case with the conviction this week of 17-year-old Shawn Tyson in the murders of two British tourists. All along, witnesses said there were two men who surprised the two drunken Britons on April 16, when they were shot and killed as they staggered through the public housing complex. Court records from the Tyson case name Steven Fields, 19, as possibly being the accomplice. Fields has family in Newtown and has spent most of his teen years behind bars. He was convicted of robbery and aggravated assault when he was 14. When tourists James Cooper and James Kouzaris were murdered, Fields was living with his mother in Tampa.
Now serving 14 months in prison for a car theft conviction unrelated to the murders, Steven Fields is scheduled to be released from prison on January 19th, 2018, so in a few days we will have this violent thug back on the streets of Sarasota. “We’re looking at him (Fields) and if we can develop probable cause to charge him, we’ll do so,” said Sarasota Police Sgt. Kevin Churchill. “Now that this conviction is done, perhaps people will be more inclined to help us and provide some information.” Steven Fields was part of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s gang back in 2011 along with Steven R. Phelps, Diandrew L. Clarkson, Shawn D. Whitfield and Joshua J. Bane that terrorized Newtown.
Newtown thug Diandrew L. Clarkson arrested September 28th, 2015: According to a Sarasota Police Department news release, Diandrew L. Clarkson, 20, shot Daniel Ortiz, 44 — who was driving in the 1500 block of 25th Street Newtown on Monday evening — after Ortiz tried to buy $35 in drugs from him. Clarkson demanded Ortiz pay him $40 from a previous deal, leaned into Ortiz’s car and pulled a handgun from his waistband and shot Ortiz who later died. This dirtball Diandrew L. Clarkson was in Newtown selling drugs on the street. Diandrew L. Clarkson was part of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s gang back in 2011 along with Steven R. Phelps, Steven Fields, Shawn D. Whitfield and Joshua J. Bane that terrorized Newtown.

SARASOTA ABC-7- May 12th, 2013 Steven R. Phelps Jr was part of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s gang. Authorities have arrested a man in connection to the shooting of his own father. Steven R. Phelps Jr. has been arrested for Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Phelps was arrested on Tuesday on the 1300 block of 21st Street in Sarasota. The arrest was made by members of the US Marshal’s Service, Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force. Detectives from the Sarasota Police Department and Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office participate in the Fugitive Task Force and were involved in today’s arrest.
Steven R. Phelps Jr and Curtis Campbell were arrested for an armed robbery on Leon Ave in Newtown in 2011. On March 18th 2011, two robbers put a gun to the head of a man working on an air conditioning unit in the 2400 block of Leon Avenue and demanded his money, shouting “give it up”, they knew he had $950 in cash in his pockets. Sarasota Police arrested Steven Phelps Jr, 17, and Curtis Campbell, 18, for armed robbery. Steven R. Phelps Jr was part of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s gang back in 2011 along with Diandrew L. Clarkson, Shawn D. Whitfield, Steven Fields and Joshua J. Bane that terrorized Newtown. Phelps is currently in prison on the attempted murder conviction.

SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE May 15, 2013, Shawn D. Whitfield Jr was part of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s gang back in 2011 along with Diandrew L. Clarkson, Steven Fields, Steven R. Phelps Jr and Joshua J. Bane that terrorized Newtown. Three teenagers were arrested as part of an operation targeting high-crime areas in north Sarasota, says the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office says the teenagers, Shawn Whitfield, 19, Tyler Radkey, 19, and a 17-year-old, are charged with 28 car burglaries, two vehicle thefts and fraudulent use of a credit card. Sheriff Tom Knight said the mission of the operation was to show that crime is not tolerated in the area. The Sheriff’s Office also arrested fifty other people on various charges, touting the use of data analysis to show “hot spots” for crime in the community. Shawn D. Whitfield Jr was released from prison on 7/29/2017, his listed residence upon release was 1682 22nd Street in the Newtown section of Sarasota Fl, just a few doors up from where Travis Combs was murdered on 8/28/2017 in the 1600 block of 22nd Street, “just sayin”.

Two associates of Shawn Tyson and his gang in 2011, Joshua Bane and Treshaun Simmons, turned out to be snitches at Shawn Tyson’s trial to save themselves from jail time. SARASOTA HERALD TRIBUNE: At trial Murder defendant Shawn Tyson bragged about opening fire on two British tourists after he tried to rob them, a friend said that Tyson told her and another friend that he shot the men — James Cooper, 25, and James Kouzaris, 24 — when they told him they had no money. Joshua Bane, 25, the brother of Jermaine Bane, is a former friend who testified against Tyson. Joshua Bane testified that the pistol was buried by a mutual friend, then dug up and handed to him to sell. Joshua Bane said he sold it on the street for $50 and spent the money on marijuana. Initially, Bane had been considered a suspect in the murder, Attorney Schlemmer said. Joshua Bane was arrested on two felony charges along with his brother on May 15,2011 a month after the shootings. He cut a plea deal that kept him out of prison in exchange for his testimony in the murder trial. Joshua Bane, 25, avoided 10 years in prison when he agreed to testify against Tyson, who he told the jury had frequently carried a .22-caliber handgun, sometimes pulling it out on people. Prosecutors called to the stand Treshaun Simmons, a friend of accused murderer Shawn Tyson, 17. Treshaun Simmons told the jury that the day before British tourist James Kouzaris and James Cooper were shot and killed he saw .22-caliber bullets in Tyson’s room. Forensics found both victims were killed by .22-caliber bullets, but tests could not conclusively tie the bullets to Tyson. Treshaun Simmons said he had gone to Tyson’s home to retrieve bullets for his gun, a 40-caliber. Joshua J. Bane was part of teen killer Shawn Tyson’s gang back in 2011 along with Diandrew L. Clarkson, Steven Fields, Shawn D. Whitfield and Steven R. Phelps Jr that terrorized Newtown.
Prior to testifying at Shawn Tyson’s trial, Treshaun Simmons had been wanted by the Polk County Sheriff Department and Sheriff Grady Judd in February 2011 for pointing a gun at a student at Webber Univ.
|KNOWN SUSPECT SOUGHT IN AGGRAVATED ASSAULT|
Polk County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating Treshaun Simmons, DOB 9/16/91, of 17705 Pebble Creek Court in Clermont. Treshaun Simmons has a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Assault stemming from an incident that occurred on Monday, February 28, 2011, during which he displayed a firearm in an aggressive manner towards another student on the campus of Webber International University in Lake Wales. After this incident, Treshaun Simmons withdrew from school and hasn’t been seen since.
Treshaun Simmons is currently in the Sarasota County Jail as of 11/25/2017 on battery and firing a .40 caliber firearm in public charges, the charges stemming from an incident on MLK Blvd in Newtown Sarasota Fl in the summer of 2017. The charges are 1st Degree Misdemeanors and Treshaun Simmons has a high combined bail of $125,000.00 for failure to appear for one of his court dates in 2017.
Let’s get real here, my articles are in NO WAY disparaging of missing teen Jabez Spann who as by all accounts is the all-American kid, football player, good student, on the straight and narrow and not deserving of what apparently has happened to him. My articles on Missing Jabez Spann and Travis Combs are also in NO WAY disparaging of the Sarasota Police Department or the work of the Sarasota Police Department detectives. My articles are published in the attempt to produce any leads that I could pass onto the Sarasota Police Department. My article today is very critical of the Sarasota Mayor Shelli Freeland Eddie, who has her law office in Newtown, and the Newtown Pastor and the Newtown Sex Offender who all appear to keep to themselves any information about who murdered Travis Combs and will not cooperate with the Sarasota Police Department, NEWTOWN NO SNITCHIN.
Newtown Residents Reginald Parker & Jabez Spann Witness Murder of Travis Combs, Jabez Goes Missing and Parker Won’t Talk to Sarasota Cops, No Snitchin in Newtown. Travis Combs was murdered in an empty lot in the 1600 section of 22nd Street, see his red car in photo above, he was shot in the back. Travis Combs was shot on August 28th, 2017 at about 9:20 p.m. Travis Combs murder most likely drug related as in May 2014 he was arrested in front of 2222 MLK Dr Newtown with 1.6 lbs of marijuana in the trunk of his car.
WHO SHOT TRAVIS COMBS: From information that I obtained on my own it has been discovered that Travis Combs was known to pull his vehicle into the empty lot on 22nd Street and sell marijuana from his car. It also became apparent to local Newtown thugs that Travis Combs would have large amounts of cash on him from the drug sales. Apparently Reginald Parker and Jabez Spann witnessed 3 local Newtown thugs rob and murder Travis Combs for his money. I will identify the 3 Newtown thugs that murdered Travis Combs in this article as Thug A, Thug B, and Thug C. The three thugs surround 31-year-old Travis Combs in his car in the empty lot in Newtown shouting “give it up” to Combs as he got out and tried to run. “I ain’t got it,” said Combs, surrounded by the trio in the empty lot in the 1600 block of 22nd Street on August 28th.
NO SNITCHIN IN NEWTOWN. Reluctant witness Reginald Parker is a registered sex offender, he has spent 13 years in the Florida State prison system, in and out on 4 different occasions dating back to 1993:
|Incarceration History Reginald Parker:|
|Date In-Custody||Date Out-Custody|
During the conversation, Tillery says, Parker also admitted that he saw Jabez Spann exit a home at the time of the murder, and Jabez Spann yelled “oh my God Y’all shot him.” Apparently Thug A, Thug B, and Thug C saw Jabez Spann and did not see Reginald Parker who had just come out of a nearby rooming house. Reginald Parker told others that ‘Thug C’ shot Travis Combs and ran off with Thug B, Thug A got in Travis Combs car and drove off. It appears that Thug A stole Travis Combs car and set it on fire in Manatee County, destroying any evidence. Reginald Parker has been charged with ‘Accessory After The Fact to 1st Degree Murder’, Parker would rather go to prison than talk to Sarasota cops. If arrested and convicted of Armed Robbery and Murder of Travis Combs and the Kidnapping of Jabez Spann all three Thugs would be facing life in prison or the death penalty.
Note in the Sarasota Police report, dated April 27th, 2011 above, how the witness describes Shawn Tyson and his 3 pals as “a gang of young black males who had been terrorizing the central Newtown community over the last several months. The witness claims in the above report that Shawn Tyson and his 3 gang members were all armed with revolvers that they had hidden in the waistband of their pants. The witness reports his last run in with the gang (without Tyson) was on the afternoon of April 16th, 2011, when they told him he would “end up like them two dead crackers“, this was same day James Cooper and James Kouzaris would be found shot to death in the Newtown Courts. It appears to me that the remnants and/or associates of Shawn Tyson’s violent gang are alive and well in Newtown today and have continued with their criminal enterprise, no wonder Reginald Prker is afraid to talk to cops, they shoot people. On the Facebook page of Pimp T- Tj Yee Yee he posts on December 12th, 2017 the name of one of the killers of Travis Combs from the same Probable Cause Report of Reginald Parker which is Public Record on the Sarasota County Clerk’s website. At least Pimp T- Tj Yee Yee in Newtown has the courage or boldness as in the Spanish expression “tener cojones” to speak out about the violence in Newtown and name names.
